As the founder of Liffey Health, Sean is driven by a desire to provide impactful, evidence-based care for the benefit of the South Bay community. Coming from a medical family, Sean has been immersed in the challenges of the healthcare field for his entire professional career. He brings a wealth of clinical, administrative, and leadership experience from working in a number of healthcare systems both in the United States and abroad. His areas of expertise include mental health inpatient and outpatient care, organizational behavior, and hospital-based utilization management.
Sean earned his medical doctorate at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and subsequently completed his MBA at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. His hobbies include long distance running and reading the pulpiest science fiction he can find.
