Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Health from the University of California, San Diego, and brings a strong commitment to mental health and patient-centered care. Her journey began in community spaces where she organized tai chi classes at local libraries. That experience helped her recognize how movement can support healing and why it’s so important to make wellness approachable and inclusive.
Since then, Kate has worked across oncology, behavioral health, and maternal care, supporting families and children in both clinical and outreach settings. These experiences have shaped her goal of becoming a physician assistant and a leader in healthcare. She hopes to work in pediatric oncology, where she can combine hands-on care with thoughtful coordination to support young patients and their families through difficult times.
Whether mentoring students or volunteering at blood drives, Kate brings warmth, focus, and a deep belief that small acts of care can make a lasting impact. She is driven by the idea that healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported.
