Jaclyn earned her Master of Science in Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University Long Beach. She completed her undergraduate work at Clark Atlanta University earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from a Historical Black University (HBCU). Jaclyn has over 10 years of experience working with youth and their families.
Jaclyn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Sandtray therapy. Her variety of skills enables her to effectively treat a wide range of mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, low self- esteem, self -harming behaviors, etc. Jaclyn is passionate about working with children, teens, adults, and families of all backgrounds struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges.
In her spare time, Jaclyn enjoys being a foster mom to dogs at her local animal shelter. Jaclyn also uses yoga to maintain her physical, spiritual and mental health.
